Romano Artioli’s visionary revival of BUGATTI in the late 1980s, marked by the uncharted creation of the EB 110 with innovative features and materials, spiritually set the stage for the VEYRON and CHIRON, uniting them through concept and architecture.
GRANDFATHER OF THE CENTODIECI
BLUE FACTORY
Artioli and his architect forged the cutting-edge “Blue Factory” — a remarkable symbol of modernity, the birthplace of the EB 110, and pivotal in the subsequent re-foundation of BUGATTI in Molsheim, France.
SHOOTING STAR
The groundbreaking EB 110, a new BUGATTI project in 1988, was developed and tested with the invaluable contribution of Loris Bicocchi. With prior experience at Lamborghini, Bicocchi’s expertise played a pivotal role in this remarkable achievement.
BODY AND SOUL REVAMPED
The CENTODIECI embraces a modernized redesign of the EB 110’s Bauhaus-inspired look. Sleek curves, slim headlights, and bespoke interiors elevate the abstract essence of this coachbuilt hyper sports car.
IDENTITY
Reimagining the EB 110’s silhouette required redesigning the roofline and profile, featuring a much lower front, and a visual identity inspired by the EB 110’s understated horseshoe grille.
BAUHAUS
The CENTODIECI reinterprets the original car’s flatter, Bauhaus-inspired design with a play of light and shadow across gentle curves.
BAUHAUS
The EB 110’s slab-shaped headlights have evolved into slimline LEDs — a bespoke development for this project.
LEAPING SILHOUETTE
Taking additional inspiration from the EB 110 Super Sport, the iconic silhouette was redefined in the CENTODIECI — appearing to leap forward even at rest. This unique aesthetic even harmonizes with the aerodynamic and thermal requirements of the 1600 PS 16-cylinder engine.
SEAMLESS INTERIOR SYMMETRY
A symmetrical quadrate-like pattern courses through much of the interior. Uniform squares perfectly align, even on curved surfaces — elevating the CENTODIECI in a bespoke form befitting a contemporary coach-built hyper sports car.
TOUR DE FORCE
Like BUGATTI’s original super sports car of the 1990s, the CENTODIECI is a complete high-performance tour-de-force, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and its top speed of 380 km/h in just 13.1.
TOUR DE FORCE
BUGATTI’s chassis and suspension engineers worked extensively to hone and perfect the hyper sports car’s handling capabilities, delivering a unique driving experience exclusive to the ten privileged owners of these coveted masterpieces
